Tom Glidewell graduated from Brookhaven College in Dallas, TX. in 1990 with an Associates of Applied Science degree.
In 1995 Tom opened Myers Artificial Limb & Brace, Inc. in Sulphur Springs, TX with Rory W. Myers, Prosthotist/Orthotist.
Tom managed operations and worked as an orthotist, prosthetic assistant and technician for the 10 years the company was in business.
In 2005 MALB was sold to Paris O & P. Tom worked with Paris O & P in their Sulphur Springs, Paris and Greenville offices. He also held an orthotic clinic weekly in Mt. Pleasant. TX.
Tom joined Medicine Chest Pharmacy in 2007 as an orthotist. His principal duty was caring for diabetic feet and training orthotic fitters at their 25 pharmacy locations.
In 2009 Tom joined Riffle Prosthetics & Orthotics in Shreveport, LA. and Custom Care Orthopedic Bracing when Riffle P & O merged with CCOB.
Tom is very excited to be part of Custom Care Orthopedic Bracing because of the Christian principles the company is based on. He believes in making patient care the top priority and takes his tasks seriously. While Tom works in the office in Tyler, he also drives the Mobile Lab Unit to patient's homes to make adjustments so the patient does not have to be without his limb and/or brace. He is ready to do whatever it takes to make each patient comfortable and satisfied.
